SDE Media & Events

About the project:

As Creative Director at SDE Media & Events, I was tasked with developing a design framework system to streamline customer presentations and project pitches. To achieve this, I refined the agency’s branding by updating typography and establishing clear design rules for both designers and account managers.

In addition to standard branding deliverables I created an extensive PowerPoint template with curated asset library (icons, photos, graphics) – ensuring consistency and efficiency. I also led training sessions to facilitate adoption across the team.

Project Impact / Results:

Standardized the agency’s branding for more cohesive client communication.

  • Reduced time spent on preparing presentations and pitches by 2-4x.

  • Improved pitch success rates by ensuring visually compelling and brand-consistent decks.

  • Enabled non-designers (account managers) to create on-brand presentations with ease.

  • Strengthened internal workflows through structured guidelines and training.

SDE has several departments, each with its own voice and purpose.

For ease of use I’ve decided to stick to one typeface and narrowed it down to few weights.

The colors—I wanted to use only the pastels, but the Media department was adamant about stronger contrast. I’ve narrowed it down to five main colors in two sets.

PowerPoint template followed. It’s a full template with placeholders for text (preformatted), images, and icons, with visual cues and information hierarchy already present for the end user.

Some examples of PowerPoint slides that were done for various customer pitches by the team, using the template I’ve created.
